You grow up fast when your family has humble roots, and Todd’s experience in northeast Louisiana was no different.  Hard work was the name of the game, and Todd started working early cutting grass, DJing at a radio station, and even working at the local Dairy Queen. This work built character and a dedication to community.

Todd’s career has been about helping people.  After becoming a nurse, he realized he wanted to go further and went to school to become a doctor. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Now he’s an OB/GYN focusing on prenatal care for women who have complicated pregnancies. He also spends time directing a clinic for teens and young women, providing primary healthcare services in Harris County.  

 

In all, Todd has delivered over 5,000 babies in the Houston area - a generation of people who have put their trust for their most personal health care in his hands.  

 

Todd understands the work ahead because he has been in this fight.  His work is his advocacy, dedicating his life to doing the right thing.  Now he is asking for your trust, so he can fight just as hard in congress.
